Julie Castaneda, MC, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas and a Master of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona.

I enjoy counseling individuals with a strengths-based approach. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) combined with other therapeutic techniques to address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger, chronic pain, PTSD, and many other issues.

I love to work in partnership with my clients. I provide support to encourage clients to feel empowered instead of stuck, become clearer on their goals, and “unlearn” unproductive habits and develop healthier thought patterns and behavior. Change is inevitable, growth is a choice.

I have a passion for helping clients who want to heal and work toward a better quality of life. Be mindful of the seeds that you are planting in your life.
